Hello!
Welcome to my Bronson Elementary Physical Education web site. I hope this site keeps you informed and up to date on all the things happening in k-5 P. E. Check out the links under the more tab, and other pages on the site. Keep coming back to the site as I will be adding new information about what is going on in K-5 P.E. Also I will have dates of special events at the different buildings. Each elementary building has its own page with information. Please double check my behavior policies and the parent letter that I have listed on this site, I hope they prove to be informative.
A little about me, I have been with Bronson Community Schools since the fall of 1986! I taught at the High School for 25 years teaching 7th grade math and Jr High and High School Physical Education and Health.
As the school year progresses the most important thing all students need to remember is to be prepared for Physical Education. That means have appropriate footwear!! At different times of the year students may wear flip flops, sandals or boots to school, and forget their sneakers. They may not be allowed to participate in class activities because it is unsafe to do so without sneakers. It is not mandatory to have an extra pair of sneakers for Physical Education, but I do recommend it. Students can keep an extra pair in their classroom, remember this is not required, just handy. I have a few pairs of donated clean and slightly used sneakers, occasionally students will ask to borrow them, but students should not depend on that as there are only a few and at odd sizes. We do have a resource called “Happy feet,” for families in need that can provide a student with sneakers. Let me or your office secretary know if you need help with getting sneakers. Also, keep practicing at home the skill of tying sneakers. It is an important safety issue and time saver.
Thanks for checking out the site and let’s have a great year!!
